Makeri Residence - Musanze , Rwanda

Makeri Residence saved us. We were booked in an accommodation with no running water and were so happy to move to Makeri. We stayed for 1 week, happily. The rooms are very nice and well designed. Mostly importantly, they have real showers with hot water and good water pressure (they have a special pump). The property is new and beautifully isolated from the town/streets of Musanze. They have lovely staff, a washing machine, good Wi-Fi, and secure parking. They provide breakfast and dinners which were simple but nice. For the price, this place is a dream.

It would be nice to have a fan in the room for some air circulation at night.

The place is beautiful, very clean and is better than most hotels in the area. The service was also great.

It was new and fresh with a very nice design and the beds was really comfortable, service was very good.

Best kept secret in Musanze. Once you stay here you’ll be hard pressed not to compare it to your next accommodation. I am a self proclaimed travel industry secret guest. This property ranks very high among the places in the 25+ countries I have visited.

I guess top (middle) management needs to improve on their communication skills and pay attention to guest boundaries and avoid raising guest expectations by making false promises. This was a minor inconvenience covered by the exceptional care the rest of the staff showed during my month long stay. They were consistent as they treated me like a first day guest daily😊. Their conduct is very professional and exceptional.

I felt very comfortable at Makeri Residence. Nice appartement and very clean. The staff was amazing. Liliane was taking so good care and her cooking was amazing.

We liked the wonderful view from the terrace and the beautiful little garden. It has been quiet and Jackie was available whenever we needed her and we enjoyed her warm hospitality.

It would have been nice to have bedside lamps.

Mosquitos nets are missing. Also Mosquitos net on the windows would be good
