Cottage , seaside views, quiet beach, awesome view

The location was excellent, however it states a 5 minute walk to the beach and no way was it a 5 minute walk . I had to drive to the beach and definitely would not have made the walk up the steep hills in the heat wave at all .

The property wasn't very clean , no umbrella provided for the garden furniture as advertised, it needs alot of tlc including the outside decking as there were quite a few rotten and loose boards . If there was a zip line to the beach it may have been 5 minutes .

We found a nail on one of the beds, which is a serious safety concern. The bed sheets were dirty and had a strong unpleasant smell. In addition, the floors throughout the property are very dirty and slippery, creating a significant health and safety risk. The bathroom is in a very poor condition, with mould, damp, broken flooring, and unhygienic curtains. The kitchen is also extremely dirty, with hair on the floors and inside the microwave. There are also serious concerns regarding the exterior of the property. The entrance area appears unsafe, with a large visible crack in the wall, as shown in the attached photograph. The decking outside is broken and has been covered with slabs, creating a potential trip hazard and raising further safety concerns. In addition, there is currently no running water from the taps, making it impossible to wash, clean, or use the facilities properly. This is completely unacceptable and has caused significant inconvenience during our stay. Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance, and condition of the property are far below an acceptable standard, and we are very disappointed with both the accommodation and the lack of response to our concerns.

The view looking out from balcony is lovely. Close walking distance to the beach.

Unfortunately the property was dirty throughout and most of the bedding smelt terrible. The shower over the bath was scalding hot and couldn’t be turned down, the decking on the balcony was kept in place with breeze blocks. Everything just needed a good clean and repairing, we couldn’t even lock the property when we went out as the key wouldn’t turn in the lock. There was hair around the toilet and the flooring was coming apart in the bathroom

Views were unreal, waking up to a coffee looking out to the sea ... Just stunning

Dirty grubby, and a smell like the laundry had not been done. No hot water all morning. And the decoration need attention

THE PROPERTY IS NOT AS ADVERTISED AND FILTHY! The 2 bedrooms had dirty bedding on and both were stained. The ensuite bathroom was full of grime and as was the uncleaned family bathroom. The lounge area had broken flooring and the electricals were not fully PAT tested. The fire blanket was cover in cob webs and the kitchen bin below it was coated in dirt. All of the light switches were filthy with smearing on them. The windows to the veranda were filthy and external views of the doors showed lack of maintenance due the peeling and chipped framework. The kitchen was unhygienic, with food left in the freezer which had a build up of frost. There was grease and filth on all of the appliances including inside the oven, microwave and fridge freezer. The roof inside the microwave was orange due to the lack of basic cleaning over time and any other deep cleaning. The extractor hood above the hob was a deep orange colour due to the heavy coating of grime and grease, as was the back splash and wall, again evidence of not only a lack of basic cleaning and housekeeping but any type of deep cleaning or maintenance. The downstairs bathroom had pee stains as were all the other toilets in the property. Both of the shower cubicles were filthy and uncleaned with dirt so old it was black and stained. The family shower over bath was so disgusting - I would not let my dog wash in it let alone me. The bedding had not been changed for some time and had sex stains on the bedding! When booking.com contacted the property owner for a refund on my behalf, the owner said the booking was not refundable and there was no cleaning charge! As I had booked this as a last minute break, it was un-refundable for cancellations but the property is not as advertised. We were staggered by the response stating there is no cleaning charge when you pay £260 for 2 nights, you expect the place to be cleaned and hygienic. Still no sign of my refund despite requesting one several times.
