Great location in a very quiet and charming street next to the town centre. Very clean and comfortable place. Rooms a good size.

Great location within easy walking distance from main attractions and shops. Property was well presented and had everything we needed for a short stay.

Location was great, right in the middle of York and having a parking permit saved us a lot of money! Property is on 3 levels with double bed on second floor, twin room and bathroom on first floor and living room, kitchen/diner and courtyard on ground floor. Very comfortable for myself and two friends. Clean and tidy and owner had left milk and a bottle of wine in the fridge - a very nice touch! Met owner as we were leaving the property and she was very friendly and helpful.

Don’t bring a big car! Space is very tight in the parking area. Inside the property, my friend with mobility difficulties couldn’t use the shower as it was over the bath and there was no rail to hold onto to get in and out. Also, the windows in the first floor bedroom and bathroom were locked with no keys available so no ventilation available.

Good central positioning, facilities were great and host very helpful.

the toilet flusher was broken, but your plumber was exceptionally prompt and helpful

Location,clean and lovely quiet street.

Bed a little firm and pillows weren't comfy for me but probably good for others,door in bedroom needs fixed very hard ro close and you are scared it's going to fall off,I prefer a bath mat in Bath it was slippy and no toilet brush very odd and I'm afraid 2 chairs in sitting room not comfy at all.

If being very picky, the shower wasn’t brilliant (very hot and then cold) but otherwise all very nice.

Everything was just perfect with our stay at 22 Buckingham St - from the pre arrival communication, to the ease of getting in, the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the house to its location, just a few minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants. Our hosts had left us a little welcome pack which was much appreciated and even let us know that we didn't have to check out so early as they weren't going in to clean until later in the day. We would definitely recommend and return.
