Well fitted up, most of what we needed to cook and serve dinner provided and it was VERY nice to find extras (tea, fresh milk, a bottle of wine etc) Nearly all the main things to see in York were within 20 minutes walk. Plenty of hot water and the heating was comfortable

One of the four kitchen/dining chairs was broken. Not actually even safe. And it would have been nice if the double bed in the upper bedroom could have been made up as two beds. As it was we had to give the grandchildren the twin bedded room and take the upper one ourselves. (We were forewarned, but still). The kitchen /dining area is small: difficult to get round table if all four chairs used.

Lovely cosy house in an excellent location for walking into York to see the sights. Great to be able to park the car with the permit and leave it there for the whole of our stay Clean and comfortable. Great for us and our two children. Good to have a pint of milk and basics like tea and coffee provided for our arrival.

Beautiful 3 storey house in a very quiet residential road, with easy parking (using the supplied permit) - even though it’s just 5 minutes walk from the city centre! Every room very clean, fresh and full of daylight. The house has a really welcoming feel - the selection of books are a really nice touch; a great selection of novels and insider York information! Lounge is comfortable for 2 people; kitchen is large and very well equipped! Both bedrooms are large; the kingsize on the top floor is super comfortable - made for the best nights sleep!

This property was so lovely and cosy, really clean . Great location 5 mins walking in to city. Thank you for leaving tea , coffee etc that was a lovely gesture. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Just being picky the bedroom door was stiff to open and close. Nothing else wrong absolutely lovely

Excellent, central location , close to Christma.markets and shambles . Tastefullly furnished property and comfortable cosy to come home to in the evening 😊

The house was lovely and perfect for our stay. Plenty of room for the four of us (two couples). The location was perfect, a short walk into the main town. Meant once the car was parked we didn't need it for the entire stay.

Very close to all locations in City Centre house very clean and well decorated plenty of equipment to cook with if that was needed.

It would have been nice to have a rug In sitting room floor as it would have felt more cosy . Also the fire in the sitting room was not working that would be nice to have a light on it . Just small things but otherwise everything else was good .
