The proximity with the airport

Where to start...This was a shock as we made our reservation based on the comments. - I am 1m75 tall and I was touching the ceiling in the bathroom ! This used to be a basement... - In our bedroom, there was an awfully noisy and smelly combustion heater. We were able to see it as the heater room's locker was broken. Once opened, there was a strong smeel of exhaust gas that frightened us a lot. PLEASE BE ADVISED THERE IS A STRONG RISK OF CO2 INTOXICATION AS THE HEATER IS NO LONGER MAINTENED (SEE PICTURES ATTACHED) We ended up sleeping in the living room's couch... - We could hear the neighbours walking, talking, shouting all night except [00am-4am] We strongly believe this accommodation is DANGEROUS AND IRREGULAR regarding the law. We now understand why we were compelled to pay by cash for the first time in the Feroe (The owner forced us to either drive us to the nearest ATM or to go on our own (while there were no gas left for the cars due to the ongoing strike!)

Ceilings are extremely low (not comfortable for people above 180cm) Washing machine didn't work properly (sealing ring apparently broken) Baseboard in living room is a tripping hazard

The property is situated right in the heart of the village, close to the harbour. Hosts were lovely and very welcoming and accomodating.

There was nothing I disliked, but a few more kitchen implements would have been nice, such as a sieve.

Unfortunately the property was lacking basic amenities that should really be available in a space like this: Oven mitt Cooking oil Tea & coffee - or any toiletries Kitchen roll for cleaning up mess Baking tray for cooking in the oven

It is a very simple and cosy flat on the ground floor, owner lives on the first floor. It is located nearby the airport, only 30 minutes to get there by foot. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are confortable.

You can pay only with cash, card is not accepted. The ceiling is really low and you have to be careful if you are over 180 cm. Water heater in the bedroom which is sometimes a little bit noisy.
