Cory & Torfinn House

Wonderful host, so kind and helpful, i wish we had stayed there more than one night.

Very low ceiling.

The cost for the property is superb. While the bedroom is rather small, the apartment is quite spacious with well equipped kitchen and a overall home-like vibe. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth.

The ceiling in the property is quite low for anyone above 175 cm (especially in bathroom). However, this is something we got used to within the first day. :)

* Good price and location.

* The ceiling was quite low. People with 180+ cm need to constantly bend and mind their head. Bathroom was even lower, making it quite hard to take a shower. * No spoons or forks in the kitchen (not to mention stuff like salt, sugar or cooking oil). Luckily I had my own cutlery. * Water heater in the bedroom (yes, bedroom, not bathroom, although hidden in some cabinet) was quite noisy.

Clean and cosy

The ceiling is low, with risk of hitting it. You could hear the people above walking, making it noisy.

The house is amazing, cozy and ideally located. We felt very welcome.

The owner couple were great. Super friendly. They went above and beyond helping us. We had the entire first floor with a large, very comfort living room and kitchen. This was a nice suite for an amazingly low price. I’m willing to pay double what we paid, without any hesitation, to stay there. We had to move to another place the second day because there was no room available at Cory & Torfinn House. We paid nearly double at that another place, with shared bathrooms and no one there to do anything for you.

Nothing, except that we couldn’t get another night at this wonderful place, which certainly isn’t their fault. I’m sure everyone loves this place!

The location was really good.

- The apartment is clearly under renovation - The bed is not a proper double bed but a single bed plus a wooden "bench", making it extremely hard, almost impossible, to sleep there - no freezer (we lost food) - TV was not working - super noisy - ceiling very low (people above 1.75 m will feel very uncomfortable) - we had to pay cash and the owner didn't have change so she rounded up un her favour

Well equipped accommodation, close to the airport and the port. Easy parking. Flexible, friendly host.

The Faroe Islands are so beautiful that nothing can go wrong here, altogh the ceiling height is littlebit small, but it really only matters if you are taller than 180 cm... :)
