Staff were helpful and friendly and very patient even when i come back so pissed i couldnt find my room they were patient and helped me out!

Shower could have been cleaner also there seems to be fumes coming from open chimney

It was central & a very friendly pub.

The mattresses were awful, you could actually feel the springs. It was very tired in there decor wise, all a bit drab & dusty. It’s on the main st, so you can hear everything from the room, pub closing was very noisy.

The staff and hotel were lovely and the location was great for what we needed. Although it was very lovely and quiet at night, We did struggle to sleep comfortably as the mattress was quite springy and uncomfortable and the pillows for myself personally were either too soft or hard and big but that is a personal preference and you cannot please everyone. The rooms themselves were both lovely that we had booked. A double and a family room both lovely rooms.We did have a powercut to our room which meant we could not shower in the morning but that wasn’t a major deal for us and being a Sunday there wasn’t much they could do to get someone out quickly but the staff were quick at least trying to look themselves and see if it was an easy fix. Would definitely stay again. Thank you
