Studio on the closest beach to the city!

Location is close to everything if you have a car. very clean. Super nice host, very helpful.

The apartment building was a little old but the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. It's good for one night stay near the airport.

Parking could be better and the area near the apartment wasn't very nice.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The location was great, right next to the beach and a half an hour walk from Heraklion although there are also buses that we didn't use. Mixalis was an amazing host and even helped us with our bags on the last day when our flight was in the evening. There is a restaurant close to the apartment too which does lovely sea food and has a really good atmosphere.

A charming property on the 2nd floor of a house really close to the sea. Ammoudara is the wildest, longest and probably most deserted beach in Irakleio. A kind of a rough place, with a cooling wind and fine sand degrading into the ocean. It is enjoyed by locals in relatively small numbers . The room was sparkling clean, well provided with everything you will need, most convenient for 2 people, even if it can arrange a bed for a child, I suppose. Good air conditioning, the traffic small noise perfectly kept away by the strong windows even if you can use the outside space for coffee or whatever. Mikalis, the owner is a gentleman, assisting you in the best way, without intruding but not forgetting about your presence. And don’t forget: easy parking, good price and a reasonable distance from the planes making their take-off every five minutes is something that any visitor to Irakleio with some experience will always advise you to look for. A plus: the restaurant 5 steps away cooks τέλια (Google it if you don’t catch the meaning of this word, or, even better, try to speak some Greek!)

Small but very nice apartment near the beach, we enjoyed the view and we loved the balcony, it gave us special and chill moments

The location was a bit far from the centre, but we did it on foot once time so it wasn’t a big deal and with a car it’s perfect for parking

We’ve been travelling for about 6 weeks and this is one of the few apartments where we felt cared for. The owner has actually thought about what travelling guests may need and has provided all that; for example, you don’t just get a washing machine, you actually get washing powder, so you can effectively use that machine and do your washing. Everything is like that, every detail, so yes, it is really well equipped and clean, and you’re dealing with a nice, communicative and accommodating host. The balcony is nice, the nearby beach is a bonus. There’s plenty of parking in the area and the free blue-line minibus to go to town is just a 5-min walk away.
