Lovely & bright 1 bedroom apartment near the beach

The Nosey Lying Neighbours

The location was good, only few steps from bus stops and the beach is about 5 minutes walking. A grocery shop and a cafe are very close to the apartment. The host helped a lot on everything I needed.

Car parking on the street has a limit of 4 and 2 hours maximum. However there are some areas nearby where you can park your car if you need to park it for a longer time.

The property is in a lovely quiet area just out of the busy centre, and it was easy to reach the beach and city centre attractions by walking or bus. The property was spotless and had everything we needed, it was the perfect base for our stay! There were nice places to eat/drink and a handy shop right on the doorstep, and Marmalade cafe a couple of minutes walk away did an excellent breakfast.

The property has a great location, close to shops and the beach and only a short ride into central Brighton. This was an ideal location for us as we were back and forth from the Royal Sussex County Hospital. It included a great guide not only for the property but for some local amenities and transport links. Great kitchen set up, and over all set up. Very good WiFi and basically everything you need whether it’s a short stay like us or a longer stay. Everything was hassle free and just over all fantastic.

Bedding looked like it had been slept in. We raised this with the host & despite the fact he was not in a position to rectify the situation given we'd booked and paid within 20mins of picking up the keys at 630-7pm, was not willing to refund us. We left & booked a place with fresh linen. The host compensated us 30% of the rate we paid. We felt that given the bedding did not look fresh (little bits of tissue paper along with looking slept in given creasing - see pics) and the fact all of this happened within 1 hour of us paying, the owner should have repaid in full.

Very clean and well kept. Great for a quick weekend away. Excellent communication from the hosts.

The sofa bed was a little uneven which meant one person was sleeping with their legs higher than their head. TV kept turning itself on to the point we had to unplug it.

Cosy attic appartement. Close to the marina and the mega superstore Where you can shop lots of Nice stuff. Also close to the gay street Where theres loads of Nice bars and shops. Close to a liquer store and a bar. Nice comfortable bed and tv and wifi. Friendly staff who replied fast to all our silly questions. Loved the stairs, making it feel like a house.

The view left something to hope for. You could only see other buildings, and at night a creepy neighbour watched you from his dark Window making whisteling sounds at you. Also, quite far from the pier and shopping mall at the Centre, so if you are old and fat like us you might wanna skip this one. The shower also went from ice cold to scolding hot in a split second. That was annoying.
