The Shed @ Stares Farm Cottage

Very clean, lots of kitchen appliances, warm and cosy! Superb countryside views and excellent interaction with the owners! We felt pampered, and the house is a gem! Surrounding areas are breathtaking and worth exploring! I loved it so much that we promised ourselves to dedicate more time when we come back and immerse in this fairytale space and surroundings!

Lovely property in a great location. All that we needed was available in the property. Very clean and tidy. Great night's sleep on really comfortable beds. Host was friendly and helpful with excellent communication throughout. Would definitely stay again. Very highly recommended.

Perfect place for a couple. Gorgeous accommodation, surroundings and location. A lovely quiet cottage up a country track, surrounded by fields and horses. Very peaceful. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay- we will definitely be back :)

Very clean and cosy cottage in a quiet location. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, sending detailed instructions on how to get to the cottage. Without them we would have struggled to find it so easily.

A bit more kitchen equipment would have been useful, eg a measuring jug, some scales and a kitchen towel. But those were minor niggles and generally it was very well equipped.

It was self catering so breakfast was not included however we knew this prior and the cottage provided all that was needed and more. Location was beautiful.. Idyllic part of the countryside. It's located down a long country lane and was no issue to find provided you have a sat nav. The views outside your window were gorgeous our favourite was the alpacas and horses right outside. Myself and my 2 children (14 and 18)travelled from Wales to stay at this lovely cottage in order to visit the open day at the University of Winchester as a possible contender for my daughter to attend. No doubt we will have to visit in the near future again for my daughter to make her decision and we will absolutely stay at the shed@stares cottage again as it was perfect.. Very good value for money.. Clean.. Location was outside of the hussle and bussle of city life which suited us as we have transport and you can be in the centre within 20 minutes or so. We were sad to leave. Martin was very lenient on check out times so we were able to stay longer and not rush on the Sunday morning. I would highly recommend this wonderful air B&B if you want a relaxing easy no fuss stay at a beautifully located area with all facilities provided.. It really was a home from home. We will definitely be back

Cannot fault anything

The quiet and peaceful location, overlooking some fields. The friendly hosts who were on hand to advise on the area for walking, etc. The facilities were well equipped, with all you need for a stay at The Shed.
