Location fine. Continental breakfast perfectly adequate and pleasant.

No non-slip mat for the shower. Bathroom for this particular room tiny! We were there during the heatwave. Thank God they had a fan. It was still very warm even with it but without it it would have been unbearable. Pub/hotels like this cannot cope with excessive heat.

A minor issue with the room was rectified immediately and efficiently. Staff were freindly and curteous. The outside eating area in the garden was wonderful, with lots to occupy children.

Evening meal and breakfast were both very good, but I personally would have liked more cereal options (eg a fruit & fibre-type option).

The staff were super friendly abd helpful. My Mum is 90 with various sensory and digestive issues and they really accommodated her needs. The bed was really comfortable.

Although they replenished the hit drinks, bottle water wasn't, although there's always a tap. Cups weren't cleaned. Maybe they don't do "house keeping" unless specifically asked, I was just surprised. Didn't detract from a great stay and I was able to sort out. Continental brekki was a bit thin. No cold meats, cheese, or hard boiled egg.

The Hotel staff were very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The hotel is in a beautiful location, ideal for visiting local attractions and beaches.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. However, the room and bathroom could do with a refresh! There is a clash of different styles. We just felt that the upstairs did not reflect on the beautiful downstairs and the building itself. However, we did enjoy our stay and would visit again!
