Good view

Check in was not smooth, apartment host didn’t send me passcode for key collection. Room temperature remained at 21 degree C (not able to adjust), feels a bit cold. Car park is quite far.

The view of the apartment was really incredible. We had a direct view to the Fjellheisen, the Arctic Cathedral and sea. We enjoyed the view so much. During the snow storms and on the clear days, it was always amazing. The apartment was very spacious, comfortable and had a nice kitchen. The area around is quite new and modern. Great floor heating and additional radiators in the sleeping rooms.

We had some troubles regarding the late check out because we didn’t get an official confirmation although the credit card was already charged. We always got the answer that the late check out is handled by Booking.com although it was the website of TA Apartments which offered the late check out and who charged our credit card. At the end it worked out properly. In the apartment there was a strange smell from time to time, maybe from the residential ventilation. The kitchen equipment is very poor. And that’s pretty sad because the kitchen is really beautiful.

Location was actually inaccessible by car. Got to walk a little with luggage. Check in procedure not friendly at all. Got to make two stops to collect key which was a distance away from the apartment. Same for return trip. Too much of a hassle.

Location is great! Brand new (2024) housing development with great view of Tromso bridge and harbor. We even saw the aurora from the balcony! Three or four restaurants in the same complex, and the Tromso walking street is about a 10 minute walk.

The track for the curtains in living room were not installed properly, so it was not possible to shade the direct sun glare. Mattresses are not that comfortable, but okay for a few nights.

Nice size, clean very easy to access

The door code wasn't sent to me on arrival. Really frustrating as it said they would send a text message and we were outside checking everything and nothing was sent. Wasted time messaging as no one picked up the phone.

Very stylish apartment in a new development overlooking the water. Well appointed, with restaurants and bakery part of the same complex. Very comfortable for 4 people - we'd definitely stay again.

A very minor point: We had some difficulty finding the lockbox location to obtain our keys outside reception hours, possibly because the taxi driver dropped us in the wrong place. While we were provided with a diagram showing the apartment, reception, and lockbox locations, a photo of the reception building itself would have been very helpful.
