the elevator is broken and we are at 10th floor. we have 4 big luggages my babies are not be able to help so on that day I have to go up and down 6x 1st we are looking for our unit and drop the babies off 2nd to 5th to bring our luggage 1 by 1 and after all of that I need to return my car rental no soap, no shampoo dirty dishes

Beware! The photos on the listing are NOT the apartment we were placed in. Our apartment was a very basic, watered down version of the photos shown. Very poorly appointed and NOT in a great location for actually experiencing Tromso. We were told that parking was included, but we had to call the concierge to get an idea of where to park. Once we got her on the phone, she rudely told us where to park, that we should have read the check-in instructions (which did not include parking instructions), and how we have to pay (by the hour!!) to park under the apartment. I’ll gladly pay for parking but don’t make me go looking all over for it!!! The apartment was mediocre at best. Absolutely NOT worth the money we spent. Most of the restaurants in the building were closed at odd hours. The kitchen in the apartment was poorly stocked- ONE coffee mug, two wine glasses, etc. We were given 2 rolls of toilet paper and had to clean our own room. At this nightly rate I DO NOT want to haul my own trash all over some terrible new construction project. The great view that is the ONLY redeeming quality of these units is mostly obscured by lack of windows, poorly planned interior decor, and plexiglass over the balcony opening. Keep in mind when booking, the pictures shown may not represent the unit you get. Two big thumbs down on this property. I’ve paid less to stay at properties in Europe that were much nicer, actually had a front desk or somebody on site to help, didn’t make me take out my own trash, and actually gave me a room that looked like the pictures in the listing.

The location was good but a 5-10 min walk from the road, which was a hike with ice/snow and luggage The beds were pretty uncomfortable It got cold at night in the bedrooms Its a little too pricey

The view is amazing. In winter walking to the bus stop is quite hard because of the wind, hardly can open your eyes.

The photos are exactly how the apartment looks like - very clean and modern! The apartment was also very spacious so it was a very good fit for my family and I. Just please be aware to bring or buy your own toiletries (e.g., shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc.) because they don't provide that. However, they do provide hand soap and kitchen stuff so that's a plus! At the end of the day, it is a serviced apartment and not a hotel so just be aware of that :)

Definitely not a place for people who are unable to walk that much because you either have to take the stairs up to the main door to get into the apartment building, or walk a longer way to get there (about a 3-5 minute walk extra so just keep this in mind). There are no taxis that stop right infront of the apartment building either, you will have to walk about 3-5 minutes to where the taxi can get you.
