Staff was amazingly friendly. Food was delicious and able to accommodate for dietary restrictions. The dinners are beautiful and gives a great view of the sunset across the lake.

This facility (a boutique hotel) works together with the adjacent Onsen hotel. It's the same firm, and you can use their Onsen. The strange thing is this: both the boutique hotel and the Onsen serve great dinners. My friend stayed at the Onsen hotel, due to lack of rooms. When we had dinner at the Onsen, we both paid the same price. But when we had the last dinner at the boutique, a surcharge of 3300 yen was added to the bill for my friend, because of not being a hotel-guest of the boutique. This I found quite incomprehensible.

This is a small boutique hotel and is kinda unique. It overlooks the lake which is lovely. It’s also a short walk to cafes and the few small restaurants there are in the village. The rooms are great, good size, sitting area with sofa and TV, big bathroom with 2 person bubbling spa hot tub and balcony with view through the trees to the lake. We booked the dinner and breakfast included package which was degustation style mixing Italian and Japanese cuisine which is quirky but each dish was done exceptionally well, the presentation perfect and the flavors succulent using locally harvested ingredients.

Despite the food quality being excellent the dining area is rather austere and while the service was efficient it was rather process oriented. I am not complaining, just highlighting that the attention to detail re the food seemed to stifle the ambiance.

The breakfast was excellent, better than expected. I would like include the dinner if given the chance to visit again

The bed was too small for 2 person given a queen size bed, prefer to have individual bed.

The dinner was amazingly delicious. Italien but In Japanese style,☺️

Just One staff has to deal with all the services and inquiries... have to wait.... The water at the sink is very slow to heat up... Onsen can only be used at another hotel...

Very nice boutique hotel , only has 6 room , modern design , though room a bit dark ..very comfortable , good f a relax vacation , close to the lake only 6 min walk , Staff r very very nice , helpful , n professional, deliver the warmest hospitality to guests , appreciated his effort 😃 food r excellent ,, they offer free ice cream after dinner , very tasty 😋

We reserved two room , one room is a bit cold , there’re two heater in room , but when we turn on all lighting n TV together with heater , electricity suddenly power outage ….but staff came to help immediately , except this accident , all good in hotel .
