Loved everything about this place. Room was big, bathroom was clean. Most of all the hospitality was top notch. Kumara and Yama were amazing hosts with big smiles everytime you see them. They give you the best tips to navigate around Kandy and also places to visit. They offer free laundry which is super helpful! Highly recommend!

The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the kitchen was useful, and the air conditioning was good.

Waking up to a large cockroach on top of me in my bed. Also, there were small bugs that surprisingly bit very hard in my room’s bed, bathroom, and desk area. In addition, the nearby restaurant options are quite limited because the location is well outside the main town, but I figured out that uber eats delivery was an option. Also beware that it is directly next to a schoolyard so it’s loud inside the room from the morning to the early afternoon (as of September).

Cozy and quiet place. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom too (the shower even had hot water). Bed was comfortable. Yama, the owner, is very friendly and Happy to help out if you need anything. The hostel includes two kitchens, large common areas and two balconies. Its located in between Kandy City Center and the botanical gardens in paradeniya. Since there is a Main street connnecting the two its perfect for taking the bus to one Destination or the other.
