King Suite Balcony - at James House

The location was great; one block off of Duval and at one end of it.

Well, there is no value in Key West. Everything is over priced. We needed 3 beds and the accommodation was janky at best. There were two rooms which were connected. The main room was what you would expect for a couple with a nice queen (or maybe it was a double) bed and attached bathroom. However, the attached room was tiny and had a twin bed then the second bed was pulled out from below the twin bed so the 3rd (in this case 4th) person basically slept on the ground and this was after rearranging the room to accommodate the pull out bed. The facility had a kitchenette but it was pretty useless as it was not supplied well.

Location is unbeatable, close to everything. It had parking, which is a big bonus in KW. Rooms were as pictured.

No hand soap in the rooms, but they had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner.

The location was amazing, very close to Duval St and walkable to everything we wanted to go to even though we had a car. The pool was small but nice and towels are provided. The room was clean and self check in/check out was very convenient. If we didn't need to use both twin beds, or even just wanted the king bed, this would be a perfect place to stay. (except for the noisy rooster)

We booked the room with two twin beds and one queen for four people. The two twin beds included one pull out which was not very stable because it is on wheels without a track, so it moves while you are on it slightly, and one daybed type short twin bed. The pull out takes up the whole floor so you kind of have to step on the bed of the other person sleeping to get out of the other twin. The two twin beds were rather uncomfortable and it was hard to sleep on them so we actually traded nights sleeping in the real bed so we could all get some restful sleep. Sleeping on the twin mattress hurt my neck for a day because the mattress is thin and not very firm. We thought that the 2 twins would be more substantial but there was enough room to sleep, and for the affordable rate I can't complain too much. The only other complaint is that there is a rooster that is very loud for many hours in the morning and during the day. He will get right next to the window and wake you all up early. Also interrupted my zoom meeting ("is that... a rooster? haha") constantly. Would be great if you need an early wake up call though.

I liked how central it was and that was able to walk around easily . It was clean and the mattress was comfortable.

I didn’t like that there was not sound proof we could literally hear the music and people partying from the bars and people coughing and walking from other rooms . Ac was very old and loud You could not move the shower head or control the temperature properly. We paid 700$ for Father’s Day weekend which maybe is why was so expensive but way overpriced for what the room was . I ve stayed to key west other times with more reasonable prices. Not worth it
