Riebeeck Villa - 5 min walk to Franschhoek Central

The house was impeccably clean and beautifully designed with a contemporary interior that made it feel both luxurious and welcoming. Its location is a major perk – within walking distance to Franschhoek, so we could easily explore the area without needing to drive. The warm welcome on arrival set the tone for our stay. The host walked us through the house amenities (including how blinds and lights work) and security features, which was much appreciated. The fully stocked kitchen made cooking together a breeze, and the hot tub was perfectly warm and inviting after a day of exploring. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the host was extremely responsive throughout. A special mention for accommodating a late check-out – it really added to our experience! Overall my impression is that they have worked hard to rectify some comments from previous reviews, and we essentially had a very lovely stay.

The pool could have been a little cleaner, but it didn’t detract much from our enjoyment. The top step of the stairs is slightly high, but we got used to it quickly.

Excellent location close to the main part of Franschoek, big spacious house with really comfortable beds. Also has a nice bean to cup coffee machine which was a really nice touch for us

Nothing, but I would like to suggest they consider making one of the rooms have twin beds

Bad smell when we walked in. Not enough coffee for our stay. One hair dryer in the whole house. Hot tub uninhabitable
