Country Charm Cottage Sleeps 4 & Free Parking

The cottage was really nice, nice area.

The sofa in the lounge. We booked for three, we get one double bed ( nice and comfy) and a broken sofa bed which couldn’t be extended. Other than that, everything was just fine.

This is a lovely cottage in a lovely location with parking and outdoor space, there is a shop close by and several pubs, it is only a short walk into Chester itself. Breakfast, tea, coffee, sugar, coffee machine and dishwasher tablets all supplied, The kitchen is well equipped, the cottage itself is cosy with lovely little touches like welcome spelled out on the coat hooks and on the shelves in the kitchen. Lovely hot water in the bathroom and kitchen. The hosts are really quick to respond to messages and send you all the information you need before your arrival which was much appreciated.

Once we learned how to get on the sofa bed without it collapsing we realised when you woke up it sinks in the middle. No mattress protector on bed, that said mattress did look very good and was very comfortable. No cloth in the kitchen to clean surfaces, spillages etc had to use kitchen roll which they provided. Breakfast was not as indicated in the photo's though still adequate, we would have taken some additional items if known.

Excellently sited for walking into the city but quiet too. Very well appointed, all instructions clear.

We loved the property but a shower mat for the bathroom would have been welcomed….over bath shower very slippery!

Small and cosy - just the right size for a couple

The only thing we noticed was the bathroom did not have a blind on the window - although the glass is frosted it still allows for your outline to be seen. Which although the property is in a quiet location, on one morning there was someone directly outside the window - which I’m assuming was a member of cleaning staff.

It was compact but clean and close enough to walk into the city centre easily.

Although the owners did try to help with issues, the signal for the TV & WiFi was very bad and the coffee machine did not work and I felt that it should be advertised on Booking.com that they charge extra for a dog, it said dog friendly but did not say you had to pay extra until we had already booked.

Nice cottage, not far away from the centre. Calm street. Bed was comfortable.

I apprecciate breakfast, eggs or something more than just cereals. Sofa was too much used, It wasnt much comfortable.

It was a really nice cottage. Not too far from the centre and everything was perfect! I would recommend this cottage to anyone stopping over in Chester.
