Beautiful Walk to French Quarter, Pool, Gym, View

Bon emplacement, appartement grand et propre.

Acoustique insupportable : façade non isolée, impossible de dormir. Des persiennes qui ne font pas la nuit : en plus du bruit, la lumière extérieure vous réveille. Canapé lit inconfortable. Manque de matériel pour la cuisine : strict minimum en couverts, de mauvaise qualité, pas de poêle, 1 seule casserole trop petite. Panne d’ascenseur à deux reprises, obligés de prendre l’escalier à partir du 10ème étage. Escalier infects et malodorants. Entrée dans l’immeuble glauque avec des odeurs d’urine.

The location was good as it was close to a lot of places.

Very loud at night. The building smells of urine everywhere except the lobby. Very strong smell in hallways and elevator. The sofa couch bed was absolutely terrible. It’s a very old mattress and you literally are sleeping on springs. The dryer makes a horrible loud noise so it cannot be used while you’re in the facility and takes a very long time to dry the clothes.

Location is great, just around the corner from the Canal Street. The apartment is very spacious.

I use booking.com for the easiness of placing reservation, so I was not expecting to receive an exaggerated amount of requests by the host following the booking: fill out a point of contact form, sign a rules agreement, complete incidental form, authorize a deposit charge, fill out a verification form, click on a information link, then send a confirmation text to the host cell. The codes to get into the property were provided past check in time (4:15pm). The space is pleasant but a bit outdated, the windows are all single pane so it was extremely loud at night. Lastly the pictures of the swimming pool are misleading. It's very small, not lit up after dark and the floor is all cracked. The sofa bed mattress is very uncomfortable. Place hosts 6 people but there are only 4 chairs.

I loved how spacious the Condo was, did not expect the size. Accessible to all the fun activities around. Easy to find your way back.

The surprise deposit upon arrival. Seems like that should have been the 1st thing to pay before booking completely. Also did not know anything about the parking. $30 a day for 3 days is something I would probably warn my guest about so they know how to budget for this trip. Aside from those 2 surprises, everything else was perfect!!!
