Parade Gardens Boutique Apartments- Central, Grade I Listed, 4K TVs, Hidden Views

The property was two minutes walk from the town so was perfectly located for our needs. Beds very comfortable, all in all very cosy and nice.

The five sets of stairs to the apartment was a bit hard going and some cleaning products like spray cleaner and cloths and a couple dishwasher tablets would have been nice to have to hand.

The location is great and the space is large.

Check-in instructions aren’t clear for where the flat is in the property. Not all facilities are in the property (hairdryer). It is cold in the downstairs single beds and the heating cannot be turned up - bad for the price point and caused a poor night’s sleep.

Central situation only a short walk from the railway station and to the main shopping area where the Christmas market is and Thermae spa. We were able to drop bags pre check-in.

It might be a difficult walk up the final steep stairs for some or if you have heavy suitcases.

The apartment was well equipped. The bedrooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. the views were lovely.

The last set of stairs leading to the apartment were very narrow, not very good if you are elderly of have any mobility issues. The rooms were very poorly cleaned. There was dust on the headboards and even on light switches. Bearing in mind I did not go looking for this you could clearly see from a distance that there was dust. When we arrived way past our check in time the cleaner was still in the apartment and did not leave until 5:45. Booking in time was supposed to be 3pm we then got told the cleaner was running late and to go at 4.30pm we came at 4.45pm and the cleaner was still there. We moved from room to room to allow her to “clean” then apartment looked like it hadn’t had a deep clean in a very long time. They had complementary teas, coffee and milk sachet which were out of date. 04/07/2024 written on them.

Rooms were a good size. Good functional kitchen. Bathroom well appointed. Nice views. Comfortable beds.

Arriving an hour and a quarter after the check in time to find that the apartment hadn’t been serviced. Beds not changed, dirty towels, half eaten donut and crumpet left on the kitchen table, dirty nappies in the kitchen bin, dirty crockery. Extremely poor communication with Bath Rental Partners prior to our visit and subsequent to raising the complaint with Benji, complete lack of follow up communication. The cleaner did arrive and we had to vacate the apartment to allow her to clean which impacted our evening plans completely. I am still awaiting a response to my voicemail and messages sent.

Location very central and convenient. The flat could have been very nice if it had been cleaned properly and had been properly equipped with instructions on hot water heating etc.

Place hadn't been cleaned properly, dirty towel obviously been used and rolled up so smelt, flat had not been hoovered hair in shower and empty shampoo bottle. No toilet paper left or tea and coffee. We bought some but toilet paper appeared outside the door late that night. We were unable to get hot water or heating to work and despite trying to contact the agent got no response but left several messages. The hot water finally came on late in the evening. There we no instructions or information about the apartment t kn the apartment. Also in advert it said there was parking which there wasn't.

Entrance hallways cluttered and unclean. Windows full of condensation, bathroom and kitchen floors dirty.
