The final flight of stairs up to the apt-these are quite tricky to manage, especially with cases and very steep Internet was quite poor Lack of wardrobes-one hanging rail in one bedroom with a few hanging-not enough Only one bedroom had drawer space under the bed Dangerous light fitting in hallway cupboards with notes on -not very nice Toiletries in bathroom need to have what they are on the bottles! Very shabby public areas and outside the property Only ½roll toilet paper on arrival which was never replaced. even when this was requested No water in apt as advertised

The quirkiness of the flat

Initial instructions on finding the flat were really poor. Should have mentioned when through the main door, the door to the flat was downstairs as there was literally no clue. Shower tap falling apart, Internet tvs, but none connected to the Internet, took me an hour to sync them, door handle fell off the downstairs bedroom, Kitchen with 1 bowl. Property next door to a night club open until 4am with no mention on the ad. The smoking area was outside our bedroom window.

Door handle missing off bedroom door so we didn’t want to shut the door in case we couldn’t open it again. Not enough breakfast bowls so we had to wash them before other members of our group could eat and miss matched glass tumblers

Sensational location for walking around Bath.

Duvet on large bed was exceptionally hot. Property is at a bus stop which is well lit. Blinds in bedroom do not block the street lights. No bowls or small plates for food.Stone stairs down to second bedroom with no rail …perhaps a bit unsafe.

Beautiful apartment and great location. Close to all amenities, etc. Only problem we had was with the heating not working properly but the landlord was very helpful and swift to reply.

No tv channels worked and internet intermittent.

Great location, cosy modern flat. Comfortable beds. Great view over the river. Good communication from the owners.

No standard tv channels, just satellite channels like itvx, prime etc. Not a problem for me, but my 76 year old mum would have liked to have flicked through 'normal' tv in the evening and couldn't get to grips with what was on offer. Not really a problem but maybe a small mention in the facilities as others had commented the same in the guest book?

The apartment was spacious and beautifully finished to a high standard regarding facilities, internal fixtures and fittings. For a central Bath city location it was surprisingly quiet even on Saturday night. Staff communication was great and were available to answer an urgent question I had on arrival. All information about checking in and checking out was very clear and they also advised me of a problem with the table leg which they hadn't been able to fix in advance of my arrival. I also received a phone call checking all was okay with my stay. Tea and coffee was supplied together with an excellent selection of self catering items, crockery cutlery and appliances.Kitchen photo below, a lovely space which was a pleasure to use. Cute bird teapot too! I particularly liked the way the renovation of the flat retained so much of the original walls, and stone steps which were incorporated into the design. Overall it was a light and airy space and, particularly in the room downstairs, was an oasis of calm in the heart of the city.

On arrival it wasn't clear which door was the entrance to the flat I had booked. This could be because it was a listed building and there are no signs. I found it eventually. I booked this a long time ago and I couldn't remember which flat listed was the one I'd booked. My only criticism is that the message I received was ambiguous on which I had booked. So later after I'd been in the flat for a while, when I was sent a message asking which key I had taken, it made me wonder if I'd taken the wrong one! I hadn't, but upon checking my booking in the app, I have discovered that the photos on the listing bear no relation to the flat I was in and I think they need to be updated. The flat was excellent but it didn't match the photos!! There were also several occasions when I found that the front door to the building was unlocked and could have been pushed hard to open, permitting anyone in without needing a key.. I don't know if this is an ongoing problem. I wasn't bothered as we knew our flat door was secured. However I'm mentioning it so you can get it fixed. One other matter to mention is that the main shower in the upstairs bathroom has no barrier to stop water flowing out onto the floor, which then needs mopping out using the bathmat... There was a nightclub nearby and due to scaffolding on a nearby building, on arrival home after the first night out, we had to battle through the queue of people going in, to access the area, and it was a bit off-putting.
