Great location.

Short on supplies like toilet paper, and to call it a "garden" is a stretch, it's all overgrown.

Broken key/lock at the front door. Unable to get to the property for hours. Initially I was let in by the neighbours, I left all belongings in the flat and then had to leave. Left a message with the owner because he was not answering. Contacted booking as well but they also were unable to contact owner. Returned to the property about 8pm and obviously nothing was done so I was unable to enter the property. Was standing outside until about 10pm until another person coming in helped me. Apparently according to the neighbours that is an ongoing thing and owner is aware just do not care. Also very misleading listing. When I searched for a property I searched for a property with parking and this property come up. There is no parking. If you are lucky, you can park on nearby streets. If you are not lucky and had a large luggage- you will struggle. And another thing. Photos on the listing show another property, not this one. I mean when you scroll down to the bottom of all the photos, you will find also photos of that flat but photos at the top show completely different property.

The location is the only redeeming quality of this location. I’m generous when giving reviews but I can’t be for this one.

There are pictures of 2 apartments on the listing which is deceiving. We stayed on the top floor. Our check in time was 3 pm. At 3:01 pm, we received a message that check in has been extended until 5 pm. We were already in Bath and just had to hang out. At 5, we messaged to see if the place was clean yet. We received a message at 5:20 that it was. We arrived and it was not. The cleaner was still inside. We waited around another 15 min until she left. There were no paper towels left. One half used roll of toilet paper. No laundry soap. We were told at 2 pm the same day that the oven didn’t work. Once inside, it took about an hour to get the actual WiFi password and WiFi name. The shower rod is pulling out of the wall so we showered in fear the shower head would fall on us. Individually, none of these issues are major. But it was one item right on top of the other. Also know, this apartment has very steep steps up to the third floor. And there is a night club next door. We were offered no apologies or compensation for all that took place. It’s disappointing because this place wasn’t cheap. I wish I had read all the reviews better.

The location is excellent. In the heart of Bath. So close to all the landmarks restaurants pubs and opposite a beautiful park and the river. The apartment has been well restored and maintained, with lovely bathrooms and a huge kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great TV’s.

The patio area at the rear of the property was overgrown and unusable which was a shame as the weather was lovely and it would have been good to sit outside. There is also a lot of maintenance work taking place on other listed buildings around the area at the back of the apartment which was quite noisy. There was some noise in the early hours from the nightclub nearby. It’s a beautiful large Grade 1 listed building which is multi occupancy but the communal areas are not very clean and a bit grubby. Couldn’t work out how to turn the lamps on in lounge! Not enough toilet paper. Nothing to clean pots with. Only 2 bowls for an apartment that can accommodate 5 … also I struggled in the downstairs bedroom as there are no surfaces so nothing to put my things on so I had to bring in a small wooden table. No mirrors apart from bathroom. I did contact the rental company to ask some questions but no response. Also some plug sockets are not working. The main issue was the parking. There is no parking near the property. We are friends who travelled separately to meet in Bath and we both found weekly parking at a reasonable rates further out of the centre which meant either a very long uphill walk or taxis to the parking place. It would have been really helpful to know about Baths park and ride so maybe mention that in your information?

Superb location. Lovely apartment but not managed well.

Property manager didn't know how heating worked. He promised to bring a portable heater but never did. It's a lower ground apartment so was cold the entire time. Broken chair, lights not working. Parking was not free as advertised and cost £24 a day. I emailed the property managers but they haven't replied. There was no coffee machine when we arrived. Garden was unusable as it was completely uncared for. A lot of money has been put into this apartment but the poor management and misleading advertising made our experience a disappointment.

Location was fabulous. Everything was clean and welcoming. Nice size rooms. Nothing to complain about.

Nothing…stairs if you aren’t prepared to walk up them. No worries for us.

The location is great, convenient for the city centre, great views and surprisingly quiet given where it is. A nearby car park meant it was dead easy to get to. The beds were comfy and the rooms were a decent size. Ideal for a weekend in the city.

The living space isn't ideal for a family, albeit we spent little time in the flat, so it was irrelevant to us. Worth being aware of if that's important though.

Delightful location, probably the best place to live in Bath. Beautifully renovated, well-presented apartment. Best restaurant in town right downstairs. Highly recommended!

Got a bit cold at night - minor issue, the heaters are provided and help a lot :)

They are clearly in the process of updating the home and I think it will be beautiful when finished; however, the interim leaves something to be desired. They have been notified of all of these concerns in effort to improve the listing, once again, I have yet to hear back from management.

This rental has two units so be sure which one you book at the beginning because everything kept referencing either city view or garden view; however, only the initial booking specified which one it was. Every other communication said “hidden view” and we entered the wrong apartment at first. And it was hard to double check bc the unit listing has pictures of both apartments on the same listing. For garden view, the stairwell gets very dark and the automatic light does not turn on until you get all the way down the stairs making it difficult to see at night. There was electrical issues on the downstairs level that short circuited two outlet converters. Also there are only shaver outlets in the bathrooms where all the mirrors are making it incredibly hard to get ready for the day. Additionally, one night the water went out and we had no running water for about 10hours. I tried calling the number that said “for emergencies only” and no answer, no returned call, no acknowledgement which is concerning in and of itself. The heating was very finicky as the two thermostats said very different things and did not seem to care what you changed the setting to. It was often very cold in the apartment. There is NOT free parking. The claimed to have just changed this the day prior to my arrival (which was Easter and everything was shut down so it’s very unbelievable). When asking about parking they claimed there was free day parking outside the unit called coach parking next the bus lane. This did not exist. I asked for a partial refund to accommodate this misconstrued cost. It was being requested to upper management. The next day I got a message asking for a 5 star review, yet they have still not addressed my concerns I sent over. Communication was not prompt and left something to be desired. I am still awaiting to hear from them regarding issues with our stay from multiple weeks ago.
