Rose Cottage - City Centre, Hospital CrownWork Studios, Nissan & Stadium of Light

The furniture was quite old and the covers on the sofas were very dirty, that's meant we couldn't use one of the sofas and had to put throws over the other. The garden was very unkept, and no lid on the outside bin had flies everywhere. We specifically went for this house because the garden area looked so nice on the pictures. Sadly, it was a huge letdown. We also felt the property was unclean. Part of this was due to the previous tenants and the cleaning team only having limited time to clean. The wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom knocked every time you walked in the bedroom, plus it was full of baby cot and thing, leaving nowhere to hang our clothes. The freezer needed defrosting as full of ice and draws wouldn't open. Think it just needed some TLC and a good wash. Was also much further from the beach than expected, which was a big disappointment for us, and it wasn't a pleasant walk to either. Felt the property was very overpriced for what it was.

The Host always replied quickly to messages and tried to help with any issues we had.

It was a fantastic Stay that good we are looking to book again next year. Everything you needed in a quiet location that was close to everything you need. Love the extra touch that there was a basket of kids toys.

Great location close to city centre, yet still very quiet. House was clean & had everything we needed for our week's stay. Bed was comfy. Would definitely stay again.
