Self-Catering Suite in rural guest house 10 min to Islay Ferry Terminal

Fantastic location and a great a place to stay.

Herzlicher Empfang bei Ankunft. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht und war sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir genossen bei Andrea einen 3-Gang Dinner. Nur zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

Beautiful location, just what I needed after three nights camping in the rain! Very clean and lovely decor cosy feel. Close to the ferry to gigha and Iona ferry port

Was a little bit of noise from next door as the apartment is attached to the house

It was very well appointed and very peaceful and quiet

Personally the steps up and down to property with no handrail but that is probably because I am old!

Eigenlijk was het prima. Verbeterpunt: wat muffe geur bij aankomst in de badkamer: er kon helaas geen raam open in de badkamer, het was er wel dus misschien te maken/repareren. Een gordijntje voor het raam in de badkamer zou ook fijn zijn, meer sfeer en prettiger idee.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at this property. It was ideally situated for the ferry from Kennacraig to Islay(10 min drive) The self catering unit is beautifully styled and very clean. It was well equipped for our stay. There are several other rooms in the adjoining property that are rented out individually but this is the only self contained unit. The property is in peaceful and rural setting surrounded by sheep and lots of lambs ( April). There are also free roaming chickens and ducks. The bed was comfortable and the shower great. Great care has been taken in every detail. This is a lovely spot!

Certainly not a problem for us but no TV may not be to everyone’s liking!

Heerlijk rustige plek, met veel dieren om ons heen. Erg betrokken en persoonlijke gastheer. Comfortabel, stijlvol en goed ingericht appartemen. Dicht bij de veerboten naar Islay en Arran, maar Kintyre zelf is ook mooi.
