Jacobite's Retreat, 17th century cottage in the heart of Inverness

We loved everything about this property - super location

Nothing - you do hear some noise at pub closing times but you would anywhere you stayed on the main strip. This property was perfect base for a family of 6 - grown adult children and their husbands

The property has such charm and was immaculately clean! The beds were very comfortable and the bread, milk, oats and coffee were such a thoughtful gesture. Definitely a gem of a find!

Perfect location to enjoy walking around town. Clean, comfortable, has everything you might need.

We loved everything about it.

Proximity to restaurants and old downtown. Liked the goodies provided.

Had to park car approx. 3 blocks away but there was a loading zone in front of home.

Location near centre of town, station and close to the river and rivers walks was perfect for us. The ice cream shop opposite was a bonus for our children.

In one bedroom a wash basin that was too small and the mirror was over the toilet rather than the basin.

The property was in a fabulous location, near anything you would want to do in Inverness. It was a unique place that was beautiful inside and exactly what we needed as we traveled with 3 generations of family.

Location was fantastic. Each room had its own bathroom. Host provided welcome basket with bread, milk, eggs, cake, and porridge.

Central location, beautifully appointed, lovely welcome package, clear communication, in a historic house. We all loved it. Superb value for money
