The location. We have stayed in the block of apartments several times. The Sheaf river runs behind the building & despite industrial buildings & graffiti, has charm.

There was a double dirty mattress lodged in the hallway to the bathroom which met us as we came in the front door. Suggesting it was used for multi- occupancy especially given the poor standard of cleaning - my bare feet stuck to the floors. The fridge door was hanging off, as was a wall mounted room heater. A large curtain pole fell onto my head while we were eating at a table when I gently pushed the curtain aside to look out the window onto the running 'Sheaf' river. Perhaps a tea towel for the drying of cutlery?

Comfortable apartment,l with double bed, kitchenette and table. Excellent WiFi. Large TV (though I did not use. Location easy walking distance to station and city centre. Clear instructions provided for entry and key. Would recommend.

No hot water at bathroom sink. Had to use kitchen sink to wash hands - OK but inconvenient.

Only complaint not really anywhere to park by apartment but if you walk 5 mins lots of free parking in olive grove

"Ok, wouldn’t stay again"

Good WiFi and location with street parking.

No tea towels or hand towels provided for the kitchen area, bed had nails/bolts sticking out of frame which have been covered with tape but still cut me as I walked past. Random mattress in hallway to bathroom. If you roll blinds down enough of the way to cover the window the weight of the blind causes it to fully unravel and so excess hanging material lets a lot of light in.

"Short stay but convenient location."

Location

The double mattress propt up against the wall as we walked in. The sink was dirty, the toilet was unsteady, the towels were like card board. The egg chair had no cushion so couldn't be sat on, there were stains all over the dining table. The cupboard doors and drawers were coming off. The under the bed storage had screws sticking out that my husband cut his leg on and again they were falling apart. We only stayed at the property for 3 hours and had to drive home for a family emergency.

"CUSTOMER SERVICE NON EXISTENT AND PERSON VERY RUDE"

Absolutely awful. Didn’t end up staying - customer service NON EXISTENT. Very horrible person. After 3 days of being sent MONZO payment links for £100 as a safety deposit which I didn’t see, on the day of travel I checked booking.com naturally and see the messages. The message mentioned having to transfer £100 and mentioned that if I don’t follow certain rules “or any other” house rules that I would basically forfeit my £100. I nicely asked if they could send me the house rules so I could make sure I would follow them before paying the £100. To which I was simply sent another payment link. The person continue to refuse to send me the house rules, either didn’t understand what I was asking, or something dodgy was going on and simply kept demanding I pay the deposit even though I stated multiple times I had no issue with paying a deposit, but would just like to see the rules first. After I went back and forth a few times, I was then told my messages were being forwarded to the security and the manager as I was making them “security conscious” and asking why I was staying, and that I would now have to give ID (which I would have brought anyway). I was attending a show with my partner, and only simply asked what the house rules were before I paid - I’m not sure why this would be unacceptable in any way or why they could not be provided. After then reading over reviews it becomes clear this person is very nasty and I would not recommend staying here and I didn’t. One person reported not receiving their deposit back after leaving a few cups in the sink - exactly why I was asking about the house rules to avoid any small mistakes like this. I was met with rudeness for asking a simple question. Don’t book here - go somewhere else.
