It felt homely

Not only was we not given the full details. We also was given the wrong room, which looked nothing like the pictures. The location was far away from town, and the toilet in the room was broken. Getting the key to get into the room was a nightmare, and even getting my deposit back was. We never was told that we had to give a £100 deposit first before being given the code to get the key to our room. We only found out after we got there and had to ring up for help. The only good thing I could even say about this was that it felt homely.

Sadly this place was horrific, on arrival there were rats at the bin area,the hallways to the flat had some very strange smells coming from other flats . The flat itself was ok ,obviously photos had been taken when the property was new,the furnishings and bedsheets were tired and old ,what cooking utensils there were were old and unusable really. The worst part bybfar was the shower ,there was mould all around the seal ,the shower tray was unsafe it moved as if the floor below was rotten and the water because of this did not drain away ,I felt like it was going to collapse .I immediately contacted booking.com and the host ,because the shower was unusable until after repairs had taken place ,the host/owner said he would talk to us in the morning, overnight ther was noise ,someone screamed out and was obviously intoxicated and very noisy, so the rule of quiet overnight is really just lip service . The morning came and Patrick visited ,he agreed to refund us 3 nights for the room not being fit to use ,he was well aware of the problem. Needless to say this has not happened, he said inwas trying to commit fraud as i had contacted booking.com, they offered £40 ,Patrick said he wasn't refunding anything. So accommodation where it was impossible to shower safely is completely unacceptable, thenpropwrt owner reacted in an unprofessional and hostile matter and booking.com have also been very unhelpful

I really liked how cosy this apartment was, it had all so many facilities and was perfect for a solo traveler like me. The area is lovely and is walking distance from the train and coach station. It was very cheap for how good the stay was, definitely worth it.

There could have been more products such as soap, shampoo, etc as there was only a mens body wash and shampoo, but for how cheap it was I didn’t expect it.

The owners are aggressive frauds. The bedding was not clean, and the mattress was disgusting. It was collapsed The middle. No tea or coffee provided as stated. No parking space as advertised. No washing machine and no air con as advertised. Three pathetic worn out, very small towels for 4 nights. £100 deposit taken for dirty linen. The owner called me and demanded we return to the flat. Aggression beyond belief. No not stay here! Look at previous reviews and you will see a few similar cases. Worst place ever! Put it this way when you get a scam call beware.
