By the Joyous Stays - House with home comforts

We only stayed for one night, arriving at 10:30 PM and leaving early the next morning at 9:30 AM. The house itself was clean and large.

Unfortunately there was a noticeable damp smell throughout, which made it uncomfortable. The place was quite hot and stuffy, with no fan or air conditioning provided. Communication with the host was not pleasant . To make matters worse, after barely using anything in the house, we were wrongly accused of taking a parking permit we didn’t use. Overall, it was not a good experience

Perfect location to attend our grandson's degree show. Walking distance to the University. The house was just what we needed so that we could all relax together after a busy day, and cook a nice meal.

The bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor, but it really wasn't a problem for one night.

The double beds were actually singles put together. I kept falling into the middle 😂

We loved everything it! Lovely and cosy and everything we needed for our overnight stay. Only a 30 minute drive to Alton towers which was great! Ashley was a lovely host and very easy to contact if needed.

Not enough comfortable seating for a family of 4. Although we still loved our stay.

Nice quiet road and perfect for our requirements of needing somewhere we could check in late. Very helpful and quick communication. Thank you!
