Luxury York Apartment, Free Parking & Free Gym

Great location and perfect apartment for two couples.

Balcony and furniture could do with a bit of a clean.

Very comfortable. Host was very helpful.

The size of the property and the fact it had gym. The location was great so near to the town didn’t need taxi everything on hand.

Instructions to apartment and parking were very unclear, only gave street address to building 1 nothing for building 2 or the fact it was over the road again not showing how to gain access.

I would never use this property again, ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I booked this property because it advertised FREE PARKING. Upon arrival I followed the instructions I had received 24 hrs earlier and to my horror I found that the parking space was actually in another building across a major road junction. There WAS NEVER a mention of this in the original booking. This meant that not only did we have to haul our luggage across the major road junction ( there was nowhere to park in our building) but that we also got soaked in the rain when arriving back in the car after a day out. On top of the above when we arrived home I started to receive letters from a parking company stating that I was being charged £100 a day (£60 if I paid within 14 days) for parking at the building without displaying a parking permit!! In all the explicit instructions I had received REGARDING PARKING there was no mention of having to display a parking permit. Upon contacting our host he said "did you not see the Yellow parking permit card that was in the lockbox" I replied that I had seen it but as i did not have any instructions to use a parking permit and that as the apartment was for 4 people I assumed it was if you had a second vehicle. THE PROPERTY IS ADVERTISED AS A "LUXURY APARTMENT IN YORK WITH FREE PARKING & GYM" The host was not prepared to do anything to rectify the situation and stated that it was my fault. They said that the parking company would not cancel the parking fees so I have ended up paying hundreds of pounds more than i had planned through no fault of my own!!!

Easy walk into York, parking close to property. Near to supermarket, could walk to in 5 mins. Lovely and warm, Netflix etc available.

The traffic was quite noisy as rooms on roadside

The location was great the apartment was brilliant everything we needed was there for us 😊
