Self catered apartment with all items you needed. Location excellent and close to the village and amenities. Property well designed and has its own access and outside space. Highly recommended.

TV a challenge for live programmes but managed in the end.

"Great apartment for a short break in Yorkshire"

Great location and beautiful surroundings

There was a odour in the apartment that was off putting. The carpets and upholstery around the flat could do with freshening up. We felt quite cold in the property, the storage heater downstairs did warm things up a bit and the heater in the bedroom was fine.

"Lovely venue & great location, but a shame that such a new place still has unresolved snags."

Nice clean and quiet. Great locatioon. Plenty of parking and great walks.

Central heating was too cold downstairs and too hot upstairs. Despite following the instructions they made little effect. There we no instructions left on how to use the television. When switching on it kept displaying "Scan Channels". By pure luck I maanged to find a screen with some app on it. We could watch on demand TV. There is no TV aerial feed and consequently, unless you know how to use the apps your stuck. This buffered & locked screen several times in the week and we had to re-boot the TV to get it back. An older (Non-tech) person who only uses terretrial TV at home, would not have a clue. Just saying, instructions would have made life a lot easier. For what must be a fairly recent renovation, it was disappointing the floor boards in the mezzanine at the top of the stairs creaked so much. Made it impossible to get up in the night to go downstairs without having the floorboards creak.

"Five star holiday apartment in beautiful North Yorkshire."

À beautiful, spacious and well equipped apartment in a lovely part of North Yorkshire. Spotlessly clean and a wonderful place to relax and wind down. Highly recommended and we would definitely come back to Victory Mill. Very comfortable beds and an excellent shower. Thornton le Dale is a lovely interesting place with good shops, pubs and cafes and is an easy five minute walk away. Couldn't wish for a better location.

The only things we would have changed were the sofa and the rocking chair which were not very comfortable. However that was not a major issue and is not a complaint as they were adequate for holiday accommodation. Everything else in the apartment could not be faulted.
