Kona Beach Studio for Couples Relaxing Island Retreat-Beach Gear Included

It was close to the ocean. And the free bus stops right there to take u downtown. It was a pretty quiet area

Everything was awesome! kitchen was well equipped. There were 3 beach chairs, 2 snorkel masks and an umbrella and 2 different size coolers for beach "pop" or snack. 4 ice cube trays in the freezer and ice pack . they were full of ice when we arrived, which was incredibly. We left them full for the next person. Banyan beach across the street was quiet and peaceful watching the surfers, and the sunset there was amazing. It's not really a "swimming" beach. quick drive to most things a small store next store with a little bit of everything. Bed was comfortable. The room was incredibly clean. Instructions to get in we're clear and simple. a/c was a new window unit but worked well it would cool the room in 15-20 minutes. Yes it's not silent, but it wasn't obnoxious either. would 10 out of 10 recommend this place as a place to stay. The view was nice you could see the waves crashing on the beach and hear them clearly. Turtles swim in and out of the tide pools while you sit on the beach.

I have literally nothing bad to say. Other then we couldn't stay forever.

This place was a great quiet place safe for family’s great hospitality exceptional views and big place to stay with plenty of places and sites to eat shop and view close by I’d rate it a 100/100 I will be looking forward to coming back !!

Great location, great value

The location was good, close to the beach. Had a lot of amenities, beach chairs, towels, etc.. Had plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Nice small table and chairs on the patio.

Very noisy. The AC was extremely loud, squealing noise every time I used it. Couldn't hear the TV because of the AC. Plus, there is a lot of road noise. Very close to the road. The condo swimming pool and hot tub heater were down. The room could have been cleaner, lots of dust. Appliances were fairly clean except coffee maker and coffee grinder.

The location was good, assuming you want to hang out around Kailua-Kona.

The old mattress was the worst, but the confusing self checkin doss not fall much behind. Booking had an address and the host sent a different one. Turned out booking address was correct, but the host had the right one for parking permit management’s copy drop off. It seems silly, but when you get there 9 PM after a 12 hours flight it sucks. Instructions could have been just clearer. Lastly, I’ve stayed in worst places before, but for much cheaper. I don’t think $530 for two nights was fair.
