Kona Beach Studio for Couples Relaxing Island Retreat-Beach Gear Included

Loved the lanai with the view and gentle breeze and the easy access to the ocean across the street. The apartment was just right. Cute decor, comfortable, everything we needed.

Only complaint is the traffic noise on Ali’i Drive, but that’s just how it is on beautiful Ali’i Drive.

The location was not perfect, no restaurants walking distance, and even the pool was in another building. After a very high cleaning fee there was still strict rules with kitchen appliances and garbage. I think it could be the practice of the area but considering the price, I was not expecting that.

The condo is small but nice, has everything needed. (except the a/c) It was across the street from Banyans. Only a beach for surfing, but fun to watch. The property had most everything we needed. The pool is across the street, but has easy access. Parking was not a problem.

The air conditioner is extremely inefficient and very loud. It takes a very long time to feel any a/c. This seems a costly waste of electricity for the owner. A suggestion is to change to the newer split a/c. Also, check the sliding door lock. One of us was stuck on the lanai for a short time.

Spacious unit. Had everything I needed, even sun umbrella and chair for the beach. Very good location. Near the town but not in the center. Close to magic sand beach. Very friendly and welcoming host. Answered all my questions and took care of a problem I had immediately.

On Alii road so you can hear the traffic but at night the traffic wasn't bad and when windows closed I couldn't hear it and I slept well. Also you can hear the sound of waves from the ocean and that's very calming. People's footsteps from the flor above were very loud. I think it would help to inform guests that the isolation is not so good between floors and to be more gentle. But all and all it was a good experience and I would recommend this place
