Good location for the first night of the walk

The pod was very budget, there were bricks holding the clear roof down round the edges. The walls were chip board. We booked a double room with private bathroom and ended up in a room with 3 single beds. (1 bunk bed and 1 single bed on its own) the breakfast was nice but was a free for all, people were just grabbing whatever they wanted as soon as it came out so we were left with next to nothing when it came to our turn. We ordered sandwiches which to be quite frank were terrible.

The cabins are way nicer than expected. Also clean, toilets as well. Food is fine (breakfast, dinner). Staff is nice and helpful. Overal good experience.

When we showered (around 17) there was no warm water left. Also they have quite some space for people staying but only 2 showers. We had to wait for 30-45 minutes at the end of the afternoon. We ordered packed lunch (8 soles a sandwich), it was disgusting.

Schön gelegen. Duschen immerhin lauwarm, manchmal zu heiß.

Sehr einfache Unterkunft. Lieblos. In der Nachbarschaft laufen laute Generatoren (nicht der Fehler der Unterkunft) Man könnte Sterne nachts sehen, nicht möglich wegen permanent Lichts. Wir haben 6 Sandwiches bestellt und nur 4 bekommen. Wir hatten Abendessen und Frühstück bestellt. Leider haben andere Personen unser Essen erhalten und wir nichts (wir erhielten nach langen Diskussionen dann etwas Reis, Tomaten, Reis und Suppe) Frühstück war von den anderen schnell weggessen, wer zuerst kommt bekommt das Essen. Man wird um 19 Uhr aus dem Essensraum gescheucht. Insgesamt werden die Gäste wie Vieh behandelt. Das ist aber auch ein generelles Thema im ganzen Land. Preis-Leistung insgesamtabtapen unterirdisch. Andere Unterkünfte entlang des Salkantay lagen bei der Hälfte des Preises...

Excellent location, right at the foot of the trail to go up to Humantay Lake. Really cozy little cabins. The food was pretty basic (dinner was better than the breakfast...), but overall a really enjoyable stay and made our first night on the trail really comfortable. I loved the skylights in the cabin so you can stargaze from bed at night :)

Perfect location to get started over the Salkantay pass. Beds were very warm and comfortable.

Outlet in cabin 3 doesnt work, so we were unable to charge our phones the night before.

Nice place to stay along the salkantay trek, beautiful views of the mountains and nice area to sit out. Breakfast and dinner can be added for 20 sols each.

We would 100% recommend the accommodation when doing the Salkantay trek! The staff is super friendly and helpful (they contacted me before the trip and helped me organize the transport to Soraypampa), great location and great food, we loved it! :)
