Host & Stay - Normanby Terrace Apartments

The smell of Dogs in the apartment . and when you opened the bedroom window there was loads of building rubbish and a dead seagull that was smelling.

Very modern, clean and had everything you could possibly need. Location is perfect just a short 5 min walk to the beach. Bed was extremely comfortable and living dining area was a perfect size.

The parking ! Couldn’t park outside and had to park down the road in a pay and display. So you had to keep checking your car was ok. Then keep receipt and apply for reimbursement. Which I’m still waiting for.

Great location, simply furnished but clean flat (except for carpet stains).

Instructions for finding the flat could have been clearer. Demand for £20 damage waiver even though my insurance covered personal liability for damage to holiday properties. Customer Service was abysmal - I forwarded all insurance documents requested to prove I was covered but I was repeatedly told they would check my policy up until the day before I travelled to the apartment. Finally, they said it took too long for them to reclaim insurance from customer's policies and a £20 damage waiver payment was, in effect, obligatory. So booking.com customers need to factor this into the cost of the apartment. Minimal space for clothes - no wardrobe or chest of drawers. This would be OK for a few days but not for longer stays.

Lovely place would definitely recommend & come back.
