This was just what we needed - immersed in nature and complete uninterrupted bliss! Lots of walking routes near by for the dog who also loved her stay! There was even a local Sushi delivery guy!

been away from the hustle and bustle of town/ city life. Been back to nature listening to birds and the river flowing. No tv or phone reception. Peace and quiet. The simple things brought me back to my childhood, having a dip in the river, picking berries from the bushes. We had more enjoyment and laughs and enjoyed it with our fur family. Learned about how nature can help with illness from Pete. Lovely base to venture around west cork and beara. You have all your essentails, comfy bed, hot water, shower, clean towels and linen, small fridge and gas oven/ hob. Just relax and unwind......

Can pick anything off hand

We spent a lovely weekend there in April with our family and our dog. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Spent lots of time outside lovely walks and beaches in the area. Our host was very nice and helpful he had lots of recommendations for outdoor activities.

Really liked the alternative festival vibe, loved that nature was the focus and they are keen environmentalists. The novelty of staying in a truck was wonderful for me and my kids.

Lovely location, hidden in trees near a river that we could hear gently in background. Liked the outdoor deck with roof cover, which worked very well for our family group with kids and dogs, when it was raining and warm in August. Host Jess was really lovely and very helpful.

The description was clear about the basic facilities and so we expected limited space and compost toilet. All good, in fact better than we expected! However, we had not realised that both adult beds are high up and reached by ladders, which wasn't possible for one of us who is older, and who then had to squeeze into the child bed which is inside a small cabin/ cupboard. He didn't mind and slept well. However, it could be clearer that you have to be confident to climb down a ladder in the dark to get out of bed for a pee in the middle of the night!
