Truck & Pod creative nature retreat.

I *adored* this place. Quiet, private, quirky, comfortable, had everything I wanted. Communication with the hosts was perfectly smooth, the directions were spot on and when I had a small technical problem they were at the door within minutes of getting the message and fixed it ASAP. What more could you ask?

That I couldn't stay longer. Two nights, when I was busy all the day in between, it just wasn't enough. I'll fix that next time. When people find out how fab it is, it'll be harder for me to get a reservation.

Fantastic place with great walks around and a lovely river at the bottom of the trail. Great to get away and get some peace out of the city

Wasn't a massive fan of the compost toilet but it's environmentally friendly and didn't come as a surprise

Had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing weekend. Has everything you need in the most serene setting. Our little girl loved the pod and river trail, I loved the visiting dogs and my husband loved the scenery, fresh air and gorgeous clear night skies away from the city.

Absolutely no faults. Will definitely be back with the family or would be lovely with a few friends.

Kind of a new vacation experience feels a lot like camping

We were absolutely delighted with our stay - the entire property had such a charming and peaceful energy. The truck itself is very comfortable and so full of character. We had everything we needed along with stunning views from the beautiful deck area and daily visits from the lovely Nettles and Pippi! It really was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Jess and Pete were always so accommodating and full of great ideas for day trips and activities nearby. It was so great to see their focus on sustainability throughout the property as well as their incredible art pieces. We couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to stay again in the future!

We really couldn’t fault the property. The compost loo was certainly a bit of an adjustment but all part of the experience! We were given everything we needed along with some brilliant educational material on how much of an impact this small change makes on the overall sustainability of the property.

Fantastic location quiet and tranquil. Wonderful hosts who were there if needed. The truck was cosy and perfect for us with a lovely view in the morning.

Remoteness, peace and quiet, nature, very friendly hosts

It‘s just completely different than what you usually have… perfect place to relax an calm down and experience a different way of life!

Truck got quite hot - but that's due to this unusual hot wheather. Some of the crockery and cutlery was not really cleaned so we had do this upfront. The Rest was absolutely fine!
