Nothing, it was perfect

This little cottage was perfect we absolutely loved staying here, it had everything you needed and the most perfect location. Great views and walks just on the doorstop!

Cosy and comfortable

The neighbour as soon as we park she gives us a chat about the parking. We know that it’s shared parking. We don’t like that kind of welcome you but it’s not a problem at all. It doesn’t affect me for booking it again because the property is beautiful and the host is lovely.

The cottage we stayed in was lovely and clean. It smelt lovely Walks from the door

Leaving.

Arriving. The property doesn't have its own parking. You are reliant on the woman next door to let you stay there as she pointed out to us as we arrived. We then entered the property and found the boiler exposed without being boxed in and the electrics exposed in the hall. The property itself is absolutely tiny and all of the woodwork is not level. The stairs were so steep and narrow that anyone with any sort of disability would really struggle. There were some nice touches in there as regards to leaving us some pastry and prosecco but the damp smell and awful sheets were enough for us to want to leave. We left to go out to the shop extremely unhappy at our choice and had to walk through a washing line of wet clothes to get back in. Eventually after deciding it just wasn't worth the money we decided to leave and get a room in a hotel at Llanberis. This was an absolute palace compared to this place. We contacted the lady to tell her that we didnt feel comfortable ,wouldn't be staying and she kindly offered us a refund and took bank details to speed up the process rather than going through booking.com ( her idea ). We have contacted her 3 or 4 times since and she has changed her mind, we have been told it takes time to go through booking.com even though it was her idea to refund us outside of that. It has been 4 weeks and we are still waiting and wanted to hold off from writing a review but feel we have been unfairly duped into staying somewhere that isn't very nice and then fobbed off when It came to the refund. I would never normally write a review but feel like people should know what they are getting into before booking. It's not exactly how it was advertised and the woman isn't exactly truthful to her word.
