Glenesk Flat 2 with private courtyard

Location. Comfort of the bed and the fact it had no windows for blackout sleep. Decor was calming and delightful.

Slow draining bathroom basin. Small shower mat. Garden gate was difficult to open. WiFi could have been quicker

Location is brilliant with good free offroad parking.apt was nice with a nice courtyard with bistro table & chairs

Unfortunately at bed time we pulled back the duvet to be greeted with several ba d stains on the fitted sheet and dog hairs!!. Grr, no one likes the thought of a dirty bed.2 of the pillow cases also had stains and the mattress cover was not very nice either. It realy should have been thrown away ages ago.we tried to contact them on the Saturday morning but weren't sure if the email sent as we didn't get a reply.we did leave a note on the side for the cleaner but still havnt had a reply.?? Luckily we found a cupboard with some laundry in so put a clean sheet on, if there hadn't been any we would have packed up and gone home as we only live 50 mins away from woodhall.

Good location, quiet and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and sofa with nice bedding. Lovely apartment with a private garden in a good location. Helpful and friendly host.

Did not like the lighting in the sitting room, it was a bit dark and it could do with more lamps. Also a bath mat would be useful.

Glenesk flat 2 was very clean, warm and comfortable. Stylish and well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable bed and quality bedding. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied which was good. Plenty of toiletries too. Having the private courtyard was lovely to sit in the morning sunshine with our coffee. We'd definitely recommend the apartment to our family and friends.

It was unusual not to have a window in the bedroom, but it didn't spoil our stay.

Thought the settee could have been comfier to sit on it was very low , and would have liked a small table near end of settee on the left to put drinks on ,also more light needed in lounge as struggled to read , those things wouldn’t put me off returning though as loved it

Lovely and clean perfect location.

The location was perfect for us as we were visiting my father, who lives in Woodhall, for a couple of nights. The place was comfortable roomy and clean and the hosts reponded quickly to my queries. It was nice to have a large kitchen area and the shower space was great. A bit quirky having the bathroom off the kitchen but not a problem. Nice to have private parking. As this is a dog friendly place it was nice to note that we didn't see any dog hairs and the whole place had a pleasant smell to it. Overall a pleasant stay and would consider staying again.

Provision of a dish cloth would have been nice as although there was washing up liquid we couldn't find a cloth. Fortunately we had taken a kitchen roll so we used that. Also although there is a dishwasher we couldn't find any dishwasher tablets. ( Not sure if these were supposed to be supplied or not and have asked the host the question ) It wasn't an issue for us as we ate out so there were only glasses cups and a bit of cutlery to wash. There was some dishwasher salt. It wasn't mentioned in the description that the bedroom doesn't have an external window. I suffer from claustrophobia so it was a bit of an issue for me. I had to have the door propped open and the hall lights left on over night. This is just the way the apartment is designed so this bit is just for information for other travellers. The freezer compartment was full of ice and really needed defrosting so it was difficult to put anything in it and the bottom tray normally used for milk etc had broken off. One of the bulb holders in the bedside light was broken and you could see the wiring. It would have been nice to have a chest of drawers in the bedroom as there is very little space for tshirts socks etc There is drawer space in the living room. A small coffee table in the living room in front of the sofa would also be useful. ( Most issues have aleady been reported to the host )

Great location, right on the high street. Everything we needed for a short break. Nice to have a few treats left for our dog.

Sofa could be more comfy, door stops that work on a wooden floor would be helpful. Shower needs a refresh as looked dirty and tired. There is some noise from the property upstairs. Think this would be a problem if you’re a light sleeper.
