Host & Stay - Cornerhouse Apartments

The location and large two-bedroomed apartment.

The electrical smart meters etc in the hallway locked quite dangerous should be covered.

Fabulous flat. Have stayed in Saltburn a few times including a certain hotel. This was the best one yet. So much space and so quiet. Has everything you need. It is above a charming pub but you can't hear anything. Just a minutes' walk away from the excellent Italian and Thai restaurants, also shops, supermarket and the cliff lift. A real winner!

One negative, ditch the microwave, it is full of rust?

Clean opened planned and spacious beautiful windows

No where to hang coats and kettle could do with being limescaled but overall an enjoyable experience and would definitly come back

Location and decor

Single beds are really creaky and mattress very soft. We got locked in apartment block due to faulty entrance door, this was resolved next day on our insistence. Had no hot water or heating after 1st night. We contacted host and stay to resolve this but were told owner didn't reply to their messages, so problem not addressed. Spoiled our time when in apartment. Very poor communication throughout our trip.

lovely spacious living area/kitchen, clean, light, modern, quiet. Large comfortable bed too. It's above a pub, but don't be put off - it's a quiet pub and the apartment is 2 floors above, so very quiet.

too much (auto generated?) communication prior to our stay, which has the effect of creating anxiety...(new message from etc.) Keep it simple and please dont communicate on different platforms. I didn't realise the keycode was in a text message. Though fine for us, a family would find the amount of cutlery rather small.

The property was spotless clean and in an ideal location close to all amenities and restaurants.

Clean, spacious and modern design. Warm and very soundproof.

Could have done with somewhere to hang coats and store shoes, bags etc but being very picky, it didn’t really matter that much.

Very clean, quiet location, spacious upstairs.

Ran out of hot water during third shower, no glasses other than for wine.
