Host & Stay - Cornerhouse Apartments

Airy and spacious apartment in the centre of Saltburn, near the railway station and very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space in the living room.

The shower wouldn't heat above lukewarm. We received several emails emphasizing that guests would be held responsible for any damage, then found (minor!) broken/missing items on arrival. Communication could have been better - any messages resulted in several unnecessary automatic responses, including another warning about damage, before we were answered (politely and helpfully) by a real person.

Location Property was perfect for us as two couples. Very comfortable

A few stained sheets. Broken lock in bathroom door. A few places it wasn’t as clean as it could be.

The property was fine , however the £25 non refundable security deposit wasn't made clear at the time of booking booking, so its basically a hidden cost of almost an extra 10% , what the justification is on actually not refunding the fee is I'm not sure either

Lovely presentation and decor Great location

Wi-Fi poor Tv kept loosing connection I presume due to poor wifi 1 toilet roll 4people 4nights No salt and pepper or oils or herbs

Accommodation was comfortable but shower had black mould in shower remedied by purchase a cleaner

broadband & TV reception were intermittent

Location. Ample free parking. Close to the shops and beach.

Host & Stay offered an extra night at a discount before I had even booked in. Yet 3 days later still unable to get a confirmation of the extension or pay! Went elsewhere for 2 nights. Very poor service.
