Accommodation was below standard . No guest toiletries. Towels were of poor condition. Unit had mould on Bathroom ceilings Overall condition of unit was acceptable but could be better. Unit allocated was not exactly as per pictures. Curtains were of poor quality and barely covered windows

Location was good. Close to the mall as we had no vehicle. Also close to the venue we needed yo get to

The apartment we got was not exactly the one in the pictures. There was mould on the bathroom ceilings . The carpets were not vacuumed. The bedding was not clean. Towels were of poor quality. The lady in charge did offer to change the unit but being that late at night and our age (65+,) we opted to move the next day and we had double booked the same apartment. There were no guest toiletries either in both apartments. The 2nd unit we moved to had towels drying on the patio. Definitely not in keeping with what pictures showed and all our other bookings on this app around the world.

We booked this spot after another spot disappointed us. I've come to the conclusion that the Airbnb space in Johannesburg is just mediocre. Stayed because all we wanted was our mom to get out of theatre and we leave.
