The One 'Private Island' Escape

Great Island to calm down. Relaxing on the beach, playing pool, volleyball or go kayaking. Nice staff and really friendly. Good was really good and fresh.

Hostel supervisor was great! Great value for money. Paid 300,000 VD and got an all you can eat beach bbq buffet dinner. It was very very good! Enjoyed taking the kayaks out, playing football and badminton on the beach. Lots to do such as pool table, volleyball, swim in the pool and darts. Nice for socialising. Really enjoyed the beach bonfire in the evening too

We didnt enjoy the loud music that played on the beach in the evening. It was great until about 9pm (chilled house music) and then they changed it to heavy trance and the bar pretty much cleared out. This was a shame, more could be done to read the room with that one. When we left, there was a slight issue with the boat taking people back to cat ba. The boat filled with people needing to get back to make transfers etc however it meant that others could not fit on the boat and potentially missing their transfers? We needed to be back in cat ba within the hour which was tight. Maybe id advise to not book any buses/transfers from cat ba without leaving around 2 hours? The boat takes 30 minutes to get from the island but despite the departure time given being 11.30am, boat did not leave until 11.45! It was stressful and i feel their process could be improved for boat transfers.

An exceptional hostel and hotel. Private beach, delicious food (the best I have had) great hosts lots of free activities. The location is breathtaking on the beach front. The hosts are very welcoming and breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. I loved this hostel and would 100% recommend staying here. There is a free boat to take you from the harbour, the captain is just lovely, I enjoyed every minute of my experience here. If you want quiet time it's great, if you want to socialise and play pool or volleyball, or even party on the beach it ticks all the boxes.

From the moment i arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the restaurant staff, was incredibly helpful and attentive. They greeted us with genuine smiles and were always ready to assist with any request. The resort itself is a stunning oasis, my stay at Island Resort was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of stunning surroundings, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable getaway. I can't wait to return and experience this little slice of paradise again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and unwind in beautiful Vietnam!

The staffs are very kind, friendly and welcoming, the island is very beautiful . Ideal place to disconnect with everything and enjoy present moment. Cheers to Lucas and Tina who are doing an amazing job . Highly recommend.
