Nice island escape, specially after mountain of Sapa, tiny island but good to take rest and the food is very good. Tommy the manager is very nice, he helps me with everything

I don’t know where to start because The ONE ‘Private Island’ Escape isn’t just a resort—it’s an experience, a feeling, a place where I found a new version of myself. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a different world—one where time slows down, where silence isn’t empty but peaceful, and where every moment is yours to cherish. This island is completely cut off from the chaos of daily life. No honking cars, no crowded streets—just pure, undisturbed serenity. You can spend your time however you want—whether it’s making new friends from different parts of the world or simply soaking in the silence, with no one to poke or disturb you. And the staff? Oh, they’re more than just staff—they’re the heart of this place. The manager and the team made me feel so at home, and playing billiards with them? One of the best memories I’m taking back! And then there’s the fun—kayaking, exploring the island, or just watching the sunset with a heart full of gratitude. But the real magic? It’s in the way this island makes you feel. It’s like pressing a reset button on life. I laughed harder, breathed deeper, and for the first time in a long time, I felt truly present. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with yourself, to feel free, and to experience life at its purest, trust me—this is THE ONE.

This island is flawless. There isn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Everything about this place was absolutely beautiful! Two days here simply weren’t enough—honestly, even a week wouldn’t feel like enough. I wish we had more time because this property has so much to offer, more than you can imagine. From the breathtaking room views to the incredible hospitality of the managers, from the delicious food to the overall experience—everything was perfect. The managers were so warm and welcoming that we’ve already planned our next stay with them! If you’re visiting Vietnam, you should definitely come here. And even if you’re Vietnamese, this place is still worth exploring—it’s perfectly located and has everything you could ask for, from amazing food and scenic treks to refreshing swims and a wonderful sense of community. We had the pleasure of meeting Tina and Lucas, two of the managers, and they were both incredibly friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our time here and loved everyone we met. For my Indian friends, I’d highly recommend spending at least two days here—it’s a hidden gem, and not many Indians have visited yet. It perfectly embodies happiness and everything you’d want from a trip. One of our favorite memories was playing karaoke with the staff and fellow travelers. They even helped us negotiate prices and assisted us in every possible way to make our stay even better. A huge thank you for the unforgettable memories! We will 100% welcome you whenever you visit India. Special thanks to Tommay, Tina, Lucas, and all the wonderful friends we made along the way.

To isolated to reach , but that is what it makes the most precious gem.

The island was incredible, we booked to stay one night and ended up extending for another night because it was so peaceful, there was free activities like pool, volleyball, kayaks, swimming pool and hiking. The breakfast was included in the price and was probably the best breakfast we've had included in our stays since being in Vietnam. Lunch and dinner you had to pay for which was average price but great portion sizes and very tasty well made and presented food. Our highlight was the 12 puppies that had just been had on the island so we would spend some of our day playing with them! They also have their dog King who is a great tour guide who took lead on our morning hikes, he was a great and clever dog who will welcome you at the dock when you arrive! Room was over looking the sea and could hear the sea as we slept which was lovely. The room was acceptable for cleanliness. Would highly recommend this if you are in Cat Ba!

The first night we didn't have hot water so I reported it to a worker and it didnt get resolved so the next morning I worked our where the breaker box was and messed around until our water heater reset. Apart from this minor problem the rest was 10/10, thank you everyone 🙂

Our stay at The One Escape Private Island was incredible! The staff were so friendly and made us feel like family. The food was amazing, every meal was a delight. The island is paradise, and the team are also pool sharks (so definitely play a game of pool with them!) Everything was perfect, and we’ll definitely be back! Love, India and Tom (with the limp)

Absolutely nothing!!

Amazing little place. Don’t go to ha long bay on an expensive boat trip come here and take the kayakes out a much better experience. The staff were super lovely and kind loved my stay here!
