Nice safe location in nice area

I waited till 15:30, for them to clean the apartment. No towels or supplies, i had to ask twice, Towel supplied was stained. No hot water for showers, no power in the morning. Back yard had litter. Tried communicating with the host from early morning before I checked in and when I arrived, there was a mix up over rooms, she was not on site. It was just a mess. One consolation, she offered me a free breakfast, I did not use the equipment in the place as I found dirty spoon in the cupboard....

Everything was exceptional

Juliana went out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable and settled in nicely. I will definitely be back soon.

The host is terrible with communication. Doesn’t reply to any messages except on the App, doesn’t return phone calls Power cuts in the middle of the evening. Never received wifi password nor were we even informed it was available. At 10pm someone tried to enter the apartment by aggressively pulling on the door handle, then a couple of minutes later a guy knocked loudly, twice. We decided to pack up and leave after that as we didn’t feel comfortable or safe. The host didn’t even consider a refund.

Checking in was not easy

The area was very quiet (over a Easter weekend), so we could enjoy a peaceful getaway from the city, but not be too far away from shops. Our apartment felt comfortable and private. There were two large dogs who might seem intimidating, but they were actually quite sweet and mostly ignored us while we were there. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

We experienced several brief power cuts during our stay - not sure if it was just the apartments or the entire area. We also had a rogue pocket light in the bedroom that would switch on randomly, sometimes waking us up at night. The shower would also benefit from having a curtain/ door installed because the floor would get very wet after a shower.
