Garden flat in 'Little Chelsea'

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. James, the host, was lovely - met us on arrival and again when we left, nothing was too much trouble. The flat has been decorated to a very high standard and everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was also lovely and warm - a real treat in this cold weather! The location was perfect - "Little Chelsea" on the doorstop and a short walk to the main shopping centre. We noticed it is also a very short walk to the station, which would be a real bonus for anyone visiting by train. Despite all this being on the doorstep, it was a very quiet and peaceful road; parking was no problem. The pier / seafront was about 15 min walk away and we can highly recommend a walk along the promenade from the pier towards Beachy Head - just beautiful! All in all a very enjoyable stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were back in the area - thank you James :)

Nothing!

James was a lovely host, he showed us around and explained how things worked. The flat was well equipped and all new and modern. We had family nearby and it was an ideal location for restaurants, bars and shops. We have already booked again and can't wait to see James again.

There was nothing all great!

The property is spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, close to shops, bars, restaurants, railway station etc. James is a lovely host. All in all we could not have found anywhere nicer to stay!!

Just a mention (not a gripe!): The shower room is very small in comparison to the rest of the flat....however the actual shower is SUPERB....one of the BEST!!

Checked out early from a nearby 'deluxe apartment' that was more akin to a shoebox in size to be warmly welcomed by James to his garden flat - a genuine home away from home. Spacious, clean, warm, quiet, and well equipped: it provided just about everything we needed in genuinely self-contained accommodation. The two-minute walk to Eastbourne rail station was a further plus for us.

There was really nothing not to like. Our host graciously took on board our suggestion that providing the flat with a full-length dressing mirror and a clothes airer for laundry would make it absolutely ideal.

Everything! and I literally mean everything! The home was very modern, cosy and definitely a home from home. The pictures on the website are lovely but when you see the property it is like walking into a dream home. The hosts were beyond reproach, nothing was too much trouble for them and willing to go above and beyond to make my better half and myself feel comfortable and happy. One of many examples of going above and beyond would be; when we arrived he gave us a guided tour and left some sweets in a bowl for us (which were eaten on the first night) and a little Christmas tree for us to enjoy. Nights in this place brought to mind the movies you get on the TV around Christmas. The warmth and family sitting around an open fire while enjoying each other’s company. Being situated a stones throw away from the town, I barely had to use the car which made me compelled to walk and explore everywhere. We were fortunate to be there during the Christmas street fair. Which was a treat in itself. Thank you for everything! We will definitely be coming back at some point. Whenever we think Eastbourne. We we’d automatically think this place.

James was so friendly and welcoming when I arrived. He showed me round and carefully explained how to use all the appliances. The place was immaculate. I loved it! James and his girlfriend had obviously put a lot of effort into making the flat feel like a home from home. Well done, James. Many thanks

The location was fabulous. Just off the high Street in Eastbourne and bus stop to Brighton and other areas around the corner. Host is very pleasant, and nothing is too much trouble. He is always available to answer any questions. Garden flat was beautiful, very well thought out with all the amenities you could possibly need .
