Villa Delle Ginestre - sea view

The host was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and facilitated our vacation all along. The villa has a prime location with the view of Positano and Priano, and the sunset! A beautiful beach was accessible following a short walk, of course with steps and ramp down and up.

The views & space

Two bedrooms air conditioning units were not working. The host was told about this and was very unresponsive to all the needs. Only one shower was usable for a family of five and there was mold all around the silicone house is not clean. We had a Buyer On cleaning supplies the outdoor deck was dirty, and had to be cleaned upon arrival by us, also the one shower it was clogged so every time you shower, the water wet back up around your feet post was also notified what is very rude and defensive and intimidating. We were first time travelers to Italy from the US being Italian American, and had a wonderful experience, except for experience with this particular host. It’s a shame, because the property could be so wonderful, but it’s not chapter when you first walked out in the streets down the steps your approached, and greeted by garbage all along the walkway.

No breakfast. No paper goods at all. Had to buy more toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels.should be some of this supplied. Need more cooking supplies and at least hot pads. Only had one see of towels for 4 nights no extra towels.

Only one set of towels for 4 nights washer was horrible.

It was by far the most beautiful view of any place that we have ever stayed at. The house was clean and bright. it had everything. very comfortable!

the stairs down from the road are treacherous. the road walking is treacherous. but the place is amazing! Please fix the light in the first bathroom. it’s dark in there.

The location was great - away from much of the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast, with the same magnificent view. One needs to know that there are many stairs and a steep climb to bring luggage down into the home (and back up on departure). The home offered everything as detailed, but it did not have many kitchen supplies that one may anticipate - paper towels, tupperware, cling wrap, etc and had just one bath towel per person. Giuseppe was great and responded to whatever it was that we needed. One other thing to note - The home is away from any business (store or restaurant). We had drivers in the daytime so we didn't have a vehicle. One must walk on those winding streets that have no sidewalk - 15 mins to get to a restaurant or small grocery store.

We have visited the villa in October 2022 and were very impressed by the location (close to bus stop and stunning view) and the villa itself (big enough for a group of 7, clean and comfortable). The host, Giusseppe, was very nice and helful, always ready to answer all questions and offer good advice, helping us to make the most of our vacation. We were a group of 7 ladies and staying at the villa was a very good choice.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay. The villa was very clean had all the facilities we needed and had amazing views of the coast. A short walk away from local amenities and a stones throw from the local bus stop which was very convenient.

We can honestly say that there was nothing that we didn't like about the beautiful accommodation or location
