Double Play Wrigley - Prime Location Across from Wrigley Field & Transit - 2BR Apts

The apartment was very comfortable, and the price was reasonable.

The installations could be improved.

There wasn’t much to like about this stay. The check in was easy! And that’s about all.

Cleaning crew showed up before checkout. Uncomfy bed. Dusty/dirty. Expensive. Falling apart. No streaming services. ZERO kitchen essentials, making the kitchen unusable. Lots to work on!

We loved how cute the place was! Shower was amazing and everything was clean when we arrived. Super detailed and easy arrival/departure instructions from the owners too was super helpful!

The only thing was they didn’t have any basic kitchen spices (salt + pepper etc.) which wasn’t a big deal at all but i was just surprised by that since places i usually rent have that kind of stuff supplied. so just make sure to bring your own :)

For 2 single women, due to the lack of security we felt vulnerable. There were insufficient locks on both the front and back apartment doors. Both doors were not steel or even solid wood and with only one lock on each door, they appeared easy to break into. We also would have felt more secure if there had been a lock on the outside door that enters into the apartment building. For 2 single women this caused us to feel vulnerable enough to place chairs and the sofa in front of the doors. Less significant issues are: - there were no cloth or paper towels in the kitchen - no lightbulb in the middle bedroom bedside lamp - there is a weakened sub-floor in front of the kitchen sink - the extra blanket had several holes and seemed dirty - the stairway access to apartment 3 was unsightly and dirty

Great location! Close to Wrigley Field and transportation. Host had a street parking pass waiting for us. We arrived around 6:00 on a Thursday night (non game night) and had no problem finding a parking spot. Host was great about checking in with us to see if we needed anything. We will be back next year!

Love the location it was excellent, could use a little better cleaning but overall my favorite place

Some long hairs in bathroom and on towels , i always bring my own though , other than that love the place

It would have been nice to have a few games and extra blankets. We used the two in the dining area but it was super cold durning the day and hot at night. No paper towels.
