Double Play Wrigley - Prime Location Across from Wrigley Field & Transit - 2BR Apts

Location was as described. Train was as described.

We returned yesterday from the stay at the apartment on Wilton. We are in the area often to visit our grandchildren  I wanted to share our thoughts on the apartment.  I have owned rental properties for over 25yrs on Cape Cod and am a realtor with Sotheby’s.  I offer many amenities to my guests especially quality linens, blankets, pillows and towels.  I am disappointed by the accommodation for several reasons.  The entrance door from the street is not locked  This should also have a keyless entry. Nothing to keep people from entering the house and staying in the stairway! It would be nice to know the name of the host. The staircase needs attention, it is neglected and should be refinished and repainted. There are cobwebs and dirty walls. The hand rail is inadequate.  There is a dead bug on the living room window sill The outlet is loose in the wall in the living room  The apartment smells stale, we had to open the windows for fresh air.  The sheets and towels should be replaced with cotton or blend sheets and new towels. We brought towels from my son’s home.  The fitted sheet did not stay on the mattress. The bed sheets are old and polyester  The mattress and pillows should be replaced  The towels were stained  The shower floor was not clean and had a small paper on the floor  There is a former guest’s shirt hanging in the bedroom closet  We like to location as it is a nice walk to our son’s home, the train was not a factor.  Water and beverages in the fridge were kind.  We felt the conditions were very disappointing given the cost of $300 per night. 

The location, access to the El and busses, and a good air conditioning system. I like the code entrance, no fussing around with keys or cards which can get lost.

Noise from the El, but I don’t mind since I like trains.

Location is the best thing about this place. We of course were there for a game and it was right in the heart of wrigleyville.

We were in the lower unit (apt 1) and it was downstairs in the basement. Stairs down were pretty steep but understandable due to being the lower unit. Not a complaint just more of information for some one that may have problems with stairs

The location is excellent for seeing a Cubs game-- RIGHT BY Wrigley Field, could not be better! The shower was also awesome-- nice and HOT. Parking was also super convenient, and the directions for everything were very clear.

Strong cooking smell permeated the apartment from the units above.

Wonderful! Such close proximity to Wrigley Field, and a great view on to the hustle and bustle on Addison. Parking was a breeze with provided passes for the neighborhood street parking.

The stairs were a little steep, and tough to navigate at night, but once inside, the layout was inviting and warm, the bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. A++

Super convenient to Weigley where our concert was! Very comfortable bed!!!
