No netflix in the room was sad I thought this was just a given nowadays!

Unfortunately they are renovating next to the property so it was difficult to get a good choice of restaurants and no cream teas was a huge disappointment

I was not told by booking.com whilst booking this stay that the property was undergoing a renovation ir would not have booked it Nor was I told in my welcome call The orangerie wasn't there , one restaurant choice which we opted not to go for as Tierra was closed. Breakfast in a makeshift room you'd expect a ball to be held in due to renovation same with bar they usee to have a nice cocktail lounge just no atmosphere or what I expected for over £400 a night. I appreciate the work needs doing and they need to keep the hotel open to do that , but it should be very clear when booking it and they shouldn't be charging full rate when the facilities are not what people are used to This info is apparently on their web page but as I have stayed many times I would't have been checking that out . My view was over renovation work Spa Shower both days had pile of hair on floor disgusting. Did complain and although they did apologise but basically got told to let them know next time I am coming back and they would see what they could do.
