Spacious 4 Bed Victorian House with Sea Views TJS4TT

What an amazing house…we booked very last minute and was amazing from start to finish….the house and the views all I can say is wow

Only one key so our enjoyment of the week was hampered by the need to coordinate activities around the availability of the key. Extremely annoying.

I believe we was the first to stop in this holiday home in August 2022 since it came to the holiday rental market. my apologies that it’s a late review, personal life is hectic atm. We had a wonderful 10 day stay at “The Terrace” and the home is immaculate, rooms spotless, very tastefully decorated with modern and contemporary touches. Every pillow, duvet, towels and bedding was brand spanking new! The bed(s) was very comfortable with the nice little editions of throws and scatter cushions. The kitchen was well equipped with an added bonus of a Nespresso coffee machine and a huge AGA oven. There was and added bonus to find the living room on the ground floor had a sofa bed - this came in handy if you wanted to stretch out after a day surfing. There’s also INTERNET - a HUGGGE added bonus for my 11yr old who didn’t need together on my data usage for games etc on his iPad. I know it mentions no internet, which can be off-putting for families with young children, so I thought I’d mention that. There was two living rooms in the property and has two huge TV’S with a fire stick, which was useful if you have Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts. There was a welcoming bottle of Prosecco in the fridge which we found this a nice touch. Jayne - the host representative from the rental company was very friendly, and couldn’t do enough for you. Parking to the front was difficult in the evening when residents returned from work, but plenty of parking to the back of the property. Make sure you have good strength to walk back to the home if you venture out to the high street and harbour. Nice walk down, but a strenuous walk back. I think it’s the first holiday I came home lighter in weight haha. 10mins drive to the famous Woolacombe Beach where’s there’s amazing surf, restaurants and bars. We spent most of ours days there! Tesco 5mins drive away, and a very low stocked Lidl a few minutes down the road.

The location is great. The property has beautiful sea views from the second floor living room and third floor front bedroom. You can walk easily to the local high street which we did to get a coffee and pastries in the morning. The property has a cozy welcoming feel. There were only four of us in our group, and this property has three main bedrooms but also has a sofa bed on the ground floor. you could easily have a larger group which would make the stay really good value for money. We only stayed two nights but we used the kitchen to cook one night, and although it’s quite compact, it had everything we needed (except a cafeteria!) The staff member dealing with our booking was lovely and offered us a late check out which was much appreciated.

I liked everything about the property, and I would definitely stay there again if I need to visit the area.
